The printing and distribution of warrants which include the face of the FRY President, alongside Karadzic and Mladic, began recently. "I know no one, regardless of who that may be (and I know how this guy thinks), who would call a fair and democratic election under conditions in which his face appears on warrants pasted to every lamp post in town," Nebojsa Covic notes

On January 10, 2000, the biggest opposition parties and coalitions in Serbia requested the scheduling of all-level early elections in Serbia by the end of April, and agreed to organize a joint rally in March. On January 19, the leaders of the opposition parties agreed that their decision on their participation in potential elections would decisively depend on the election conditions, and that whatever happens, the decision will be made jointly.
In their third joint document (of March 3, 2000) they offered their platform on the future Serbia that will come after the regime has been changed and the victory of the opposition.

"Are the three assaults on Studio B just a coincidence? They certainly are not a coincidence, but rather a final threat to the independent media," Dragan Kojadinovic said adding: "If they neutralize Studio B, they will neutralize all other independent media, too."

"We have contacts in the Yugoslav Army and we are working with them toward avoiding tensions, although we are worried by the forming of the Seventh Battalion of the Military Police which has very close ties with party officials"
