Pick of the Week:

"Soros has been outlawed. I welcome the decision by the government and culture ministry who did not allow the activities of the people who do not work for the interests of Serbia and the Serb people. I would be very happy if I have contributed to this," Belgrade university rector Dragutin Velickovic said.

Zeljko Raznjatovic Arkan, pastry shop owner and commander of the Serb Volunteer Guard said in an interview to Srpsko Jedinstvo magazine (the organ of the party of the same name he leads): "I just want to add, when you mentioned VREME, that they're the classic traitors. They're not peace-mongers but journalists who betray the state and the people. People like Milos Vasic who said I was the Serb disgrace, will have to be uncovered and arrested. Let's ask the people who suffered who helped them survive the terror, myself or that fifth column which Serbia, unfortunately, always had. In any normal country at war traitors who spread lies and poison people with untruths are arrested. But magazines like VREME should exist so people can see who they and their bosses are and who finances them so they can spit at their own people".

QUESTION: Most of the editors in VREME are Montenegrins in our state. It seems that only in Serbia you can spit on the host state. Serbs don't have that right in other states.

ARKAN: "Just so we understand each other: everyone in Montenegro is Serb. As for the Montenegrins dressed in Ustashi national costume, they are Franjo Tudjman's extended arm and they get help directly from Croatia."
