The Soothsaying Powers of Mr. Branko Kostic

The Vice-President of the so-called Yugoslav Presidency, Mr. Kostic, gave an interview to the daily "Politika ekspres". It was published on April 5, 24 hours before the EC recognized Bosnia and Herzegovina. On that occasion Mr. Kostic said: "I am convinced that on April 6 nothing unusual will happen, although that particular date is once again dictated from Germany... Regardless of that, I estimate that B&H will not be recognized on that day".

On Tuesday, April 7, 24 hours after the recognition of B&H, Mr. Kostic told Radio Belgrade: "I am not surprised by the recognition of B&H".
