Yugoslav Political Parties on the Internet
Serbian Renewal Movement
(http://www.spo.org.yu)
Good: Frequent information on pre-election activities, biography of the leader and presidential candidate of SPO, possibility of saving a PDF version from the Internet of Srpska Rec. English and Serbian versions.
Bad: Badly designed presentation, new novelties announced on the title page.
Democratic Party
(http://www.demokratska.org.yu)
Good: A recognizable and balanced design, logical links, links to several independent media, the most important new on the title page. English and Serbian versions.
Bad: Design should be changed soon. In the ten past days nothing new has been happening in the presentation despite enormous activities.
Democratic Party of Serbia
(http://www.dssrbije.org.yu)
Good: Good, unimposing design with a very informative title page. Updated regularly, with party press conference updates once a week.
Bad: No English version. Press conference updates are published too late to be of any use to the press.
Citizens’ Association of Serbia
(http://www.beograd.com/gss/index.htm)
Good: Enough information on how to get in touch with the party.
Bad: Never updated. Information is several months old. No news about the receipt of the Andrej Samarov Prize by Ms. Vesna Pesic.
Socialist Party of Serbia
(http://www.sps.org.yu)
Good: New design, more informative than before.
Bad: English version is still not active. No elections news. Incompatibilities in the design could pose a problem for users who only use the text mode.
Yugoslav Left
(http://www.beograd.com/jul/index.htm)
Good: Design changed. Entire party program in English.
Bad: Loud, unpleasant colors. No Serbian language version. English translation sometimes obscure. Photographs of JUL leaders are terrible.
New Democracy
(http://www.novademokratija.org.yu)
Good: Informative for those who wish to get in touch with the party.
Bad: Clumsy design. Presentation is not updated. Last year’s elections are current.
