YU Merry-Go-Round

NENAD PEJIC, TV Sarajevo's editor-in-chief, told the following to the BORBA daily:

"Mr. Milosevic's actions have been making us feel a loathing for Yugoslavia. Karadzic is finishing off the job by shelling Sarajevo, with no reason whatsoever. Mr. Izetbegovic will make us loath the "independent" Bosnia. It's a hell of an independence: no army, no borders, no laws (...) That's the way things are now. The Serbs are suffering, the Moslems are suffering, the Croats are suffering. Everybody is suffering. A bunch of fools waving party flags are making money by re-selling arms, food, oil, flour. All that in the name of the Moslems, the Serbs and the Croats. (...) Well done guys!

Branimir Dimitrijevic-Tucko, a TV director, in an interview to BORBA said the following:

"Mr. Milosevic is an intelligent man within his own environment, but that's not hard to be. My mother was a teacher who worked with mentally retarded children , and when I went over to her school, because there was nobody to look after me, I was a superior kid there. Mr. Milosevic probably has the same, superior kid feeling, but the trouble is that no one has told him that he is in a class for the handicapped. A regular class does not have people such as Mr. Sejdo Bajramovic (Milosevic's man representing Kosovo in the Federal Presidency), Mr. Borisav Jovic (Serbia's representative in the Federal Presidency) and the likes. They all look like a second-rate boxing club management."

Ms. KLARA MANDIC, the Secretary of the Serbo-Jewish Friendship Society, sent the following exhaulted message to the Serbian people through OSMICA weekly:

"You are, indeed, one of the rare nations in the world (which can be counted on the fingers of one hand) which do not know how to hate. Luckily for your enemies, God has deprived you of that trait. You do not hate even those who have done you harm (...) This warmth, this incredible, and worldwide long-vanished hospitality, good-heartedness - these remarkable properties cannot be found in any other nation.

You are really a nation which one simply has to admire, for all these traits which you have preserved in this mean and ugly world."
