Thursday, June 11
Buenos Aires - Argentina declines Yugoslav demand for the extradition of  Dinko Sakic, former commander of the Jasenovac concentration camp during World War II.
Brussels - NATO defense ministers adopt a declaration on Kosovo, envisaging a military intervention aimed at "stopping and breaking down" the violence in the southern Serbian province.

Friday, June 12
Podgorica - The Montenegrin election committee announces final results of  the parliamentary elections held on May 31. Milo Djukanovic's coalition  won 42 mandates, Momir Bulatovic's SNP got 29, the Liberal Party five, while the DSCG and DUA won one seat each.

Saturday, June 13
Kragujevac - The parents of young conscripts transferred to Kosovo stage a protest rally outside the Corps headquarters. They went to Pristina after receiving no information whatsoever from the officers in charge.
Washington - The IMF postpones the decision on Yugoslavia's readmission for another six months. The decision will now be made on December 14.

Sunday, June 14
Saint Etienne - Yugoslavia beats Iran 1-0 in a World Cup match.

Monday, June 15
Belgrade - Yugoslav Persident Slobodan Milosevic receives a delegation of the Yugoslav armed forces to celebrate the army's holiday.
Moscow - Slobodan Milosevic arrives in Moscow for a two-day visit, at the  invitation of Russian president Boris Yeltsin.
Aviano - The "Determined falcon" drill ends successfully in Macedonian and  Albanian air space, says General Michael Short, commander of NATO troops in southern Europe.
Podgorica - Svetozar Marovic elected Prime Minister for the third time by  the Montenegrin parliament.
A group of parents outside the parliament building accuses Djukanovic of not keeping his promise to keep all Montenegrin conscripts away from Kosovo.
Leposavic - Dragan Zivkovic, the commander of the Kosovska Mitrovica garrison, received parents who set off from Kragujevac and promised to keep them posted about the fate of their children.

Tuesday, June 16
Moscow - The Yeltsin-Milosevic talks end with a Kosovo declaration calling for a dialogue and "deploring all forms of armed activities affecting civilians."
Podgorica - The Montenegrin parliament adopts a law on electing deputies  for the Federal Republics Chamber, replacing the proportional system with  a majority one.
Svetozar Marovic, the Montenegrin Prime Minister, receives a delegation of parents whose children are conscripts in Kosovo.
Banjaluka - The Serb Republic deputies sacked Prime Minister Dragan Kalinic and Vice-Premier Nikola Poplasen. Petar Djokic of the SPRS is elected prime minister while Safet Bic of the Coalition for United Bosnia is the new vice-premier.

Wednesday, June 17
Podgorica - The Montenegrin parliament elects its deputies for the Chamber of the Republics. The entire delegation consists of the "Better Life" coalition. The parliament adopts a resolution demanding an end to violence in Kosovo or a transfer for all Montenegrin conscripts to barracks outside the southern Serbian province.
Pristina - Kosovo's ethnic Albanian leaders turn down an offer by Serbian authorities to continue talks and say they won't negotiate until the fighting stops.
