Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Ethnic Map)

Serbs make 31,3 percent of total B&H population (1.364.363 out of 4.354.911 inhabitants); Moslems make 43,7 and Croatians 17,3 percent

Ethnic criteria being decisive in the present war, this map shows probable future critical areas in the case the war spreads to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The South-Eastern (East Herzegovina) area, Dubrovnik rear, is already held by the Army and the Serbian irregulars; North-Western areas are controlled by the Army and the Serbian irregulars. Both areas serve as the rearguard and the sanctuaries in the war in Croatia, gravely compromising the proclaimed neutrality of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
