Monday, May 19th 1989

We are now where Europe was in the distant, and even in the more recent past. And now it is overcoming this! While we have sunk into our, as a rule, sad past! Blinded people like Cosic, who even negate the significance of the truly magnificent National Liberation Struggle! It is true that we were swiftly drowned by the ideology of the past century. ...The proliferation of great and small leaders... for the sake of one's own power... Crazy!... ("Crazy"... they will crawl until they start stinking in their own little nationalisms!...), (...with their square heads unable to smile...with their sincere and measly narrow-minded belief in their nation's exceptionality...) (...until the very grave and burial...) (...everyone cries on one's own little field... totally programmed and determined by one's place of living, birth) (...eat each other up, but try not to spoil your stomachs...) Thank you "Gedza" (Dobrica Cosic)! He buried well - undermined the practice of emphasizing everything that is Serbian! Along the way he also clearly showed who he is! Is he able to "munch" himself because of this? I don't think so. He is too thickset... He has gone too far, even by the standards here. Pure "Blut und Boden"!... Our Causesku is free today!... = a madman + a stubborn and cunning fool!... (Cunningness doesn't always have to be accompanied by a minimum of brains...)
