Following last night's raid of the editorial offices of Studio B and radio B2-92, only one option was left to the Serbian opposition - to call the citizens. That's how events which cannot be predicted with certainty are unfolding in Serbia today

Directors, editors-in-chief and journalists of those media houses, the premises of which were suddenly occupied by disguised policemen in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, as statements in VREME confirm, are not at all surprised by the last wave of violence and repression against the free public speech.

It is an unavoidable impression that the escalation of the "crawling civil war" has in fact been feverishly sought, and that in such a situation the murder of Bosko Perosevic is welcome

Attempts by various officials to explain the murder of Bosko Perosevic (especially by those officials whose job has nothing to do with such explanations) have left behind them not just holes, but entire craters of irrationality, and point to the conclusion that someone here is in a hurry to envelop a tragic death with political robes, and without any solid evidence, trying on the basis of this to take care of many other issues at the same time
