The authors team of Group 17 members which consists of Srboljub Antic, Mladjan Dinkic, Dusan Korunoski and Ljubomir Matic with associates have published their assessment of the effects of the reconstruction of the country after NATO's bombing campaign. This study shows that the success of reconstruction isn't nearly as significant as presented by regime propaganda since, even if reconstruction was to be continued at this pace, another 19 years would separate us from a full reconstruction of all direct bombing damages. This study actually shows that this existing model efficiently reconstructs only the model of a centrally-planned economy which crashed in 1989, which only serves to further distance our economy and society from the necessary reforms.
