The essential question refers to the willingness of the new authorities to open the issue of war crimes committed by some Serbian leaders and members of armed forces in the name of the entire Serbian nation. If a coherent political decision is reached on that issue – then a number of complicated legal difficulties and the logistics of trials themselves can be easily sorted out

The only question that now remains is whether the new government will start sending off acceptable signs of credibility

Since the nineties, visas became mandatory even for diplomatic passports. Both privileged and “ordinary” citizens of Yugoslavia can go to twenty countries in the world without having to take out visas. Therefore, diplomatic passports do not give Marko Milosevic much room for maneuver, which makes it all the more surprising that he wanted to have more than one. Given the fact that they were issued at a time when the demise of the former regime was well entrenched (without need for feeling by its representatives), it seems that this was merely a way of showing off with something that is not the privilege of mere mortals
