On Tuesday, October 11 something which resembles doomsday more than anything we've ever seen before started. If this world in some way had to be destroyed, there was no better way than to start from New York and Washington, from the two world known WTC towers and the Pentagon. They weren't only symbols of America as the sole super power, nor of international capitalism, globalization and planetary military dominance. In the measure in which America truly heads the rest of the world, they were also symbols of the greatest power and success which the whole planet should strive for. To hijack a plane in America is extremely difficult even for the most notorious terrorists. I don't remember the last time when that happened.

The real and the biggest news from Podgorica is that Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica and Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic, in actual fact, finally met and intimated to each other in a civilized way something that both of them already knew for some time - that relations between Serbia and Montenegro are not good and that they need to improve along democratic lines, that is to say through dialogue

The necessity to incorporate Serbia in the biggest 'money switch in the history' stems from the fact that, since February 2002, nobody will recognise the German mark as a valid currency. All prices and transactions will be given and carried out in the euros
