Vucelic At A Party

Folk singer Miroslav Ilic celebrated 20 years in show business with a party at the "Radmilovac'' restaurant. RadioTelevision Serbia General Director Milorad Vucelic surprised everyone when he climbed up on a table and joined Zorica Brunclik (another folk star) in singing" and in the end, its him I adore.'' This mega-hit became an unofficial SPS hymn.

Photojournalist Zoran Kuzmanovic photographed this unusual scene. He was then approached by a man who introduced himself as Petar Zivkovic, the Director of the Hotel "Excelsior'' who offered him 100 DEM for the film.

Kuzmanovic first turned down the offer, but then thought better, realizing that Zivkovic was one of Vucelic's security men, and because he didn't want to spoil the party. Kuzmanovic claims that Vucelic got the film in the end, and that he wasn't the only important Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) member at the party. The guests included Yugoslav President Zoran Lilic and SPS spokesman Ivica Dacic. Miroslav Ilic was the SPS candidate at elections for the Serbian Assembly two years ago.
