There is no single bridge in Mostar today, but there are three Administrators: one is responsible for the Eastern part of the city, one for the Western part and one, Hans Koschnik, comes from Europe and is the boss of the first two.
Safet Orucevic and Mijo Brajkovic are the two mayors of the divided city. Orucevic, a private contractor before the war, is the mayor of the Eastern, Muslim part, while Brajkovic, who was the director of the Aluminum plant before the war, is the mayor of the Western, Croatian part. The three mayors spoke to VREME on how they envisioned the renewal of Mostar which is supposed to be a model for solutions elsewhere in Bosnia
