The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia survived two dramatic situations since Dragoslav Avramovic became the National Bank Governor. First, when we, literally overnight, escaped the soaring inflation and chaos and began to live more or less normally. Second, when we found out about the so-called Program 2, (the program of economic stabilization) and learned about the confrontations over it.
