Given the psychological makeup of the current President of FR Yugoslavia, given his present family situation and the Hague indictment, it is more than unrealistic to expect that he will call an election, that he will lose that election and will remove himself peacefully from the political scene. Is there any deal or way out which would permit him and his people to leave power

The former president of the Republika Srpska parliament was not part of the command chain during war operations in which war crimes were committed, but that does not matter: the West has demonstrated that no one who had any kind of power can feel safe, that a secret indictment can be issued against anyone and that it is a power which can do as it pleases

According to the information obtained by VREME, the contract signed in the name of PTT (the Serbian Telecom) in Peking by the president of the administrative board of that company Radmila Andjelkovic, is worth 225 million US dollars. That is, namely, the amount which the Chinese attempt to invest in Serbia in the form of equipment for establishing a new GSM network

Although, at the outset, the news about it may seem unbelievable, it is quite true that general Blagoje Grahovac, the former deputy chief of staff of the Yugoslav Army Headquarters for air force and anti- aircraft defence (replaced last year), started appearing in the building of the President of Montenegro. Grahovac has a cabinet of his own in that building, his own secretary, and he performs the duty of a defence counselor to the President of Montenegro.
